Man Attempts to Lure 10-Year-Old Boy into Vehicle, Police Say

According to Middletown Township Police, a man allegedly tried to lure boy into his vehicle on Monday.

A 10-year-old boy was riding his bike home from school when a man driving by allegedly tried to lure him in to his vehicle, according to Middletown Township Police reports.

On Monday at about 3:34 p.m., police said the 10-year-old boy was riding him bike home in the area of Cardinal Road and Cobalt Drive South when a man in a vehicle stopped about 10 feet ahead of the boy and yelled out the window, "Get in the Car!" The man proceeded to drive away.

The man is described as a white man in his 30's with dark, short hair, Lt. John Michniewicz said in a report. The man was driving an older four door car that was either light blue or silver. There was a large dent at the right rear corner, the report described.

The police checked the area but found nothing. Anyone witnesses or anyone with information about this incident should contact Middletown Police through Bucks County Radio at 215-949-1000.
