Man Beaten, Hit With Guitar in Bristol

Police are looking for a 31-year-old Levittown man in connection with the Bristol Borough attack.

Authorities are looking for a 31-year-old Levittown resident accused of attacking a Bristol Borough man after a altercation over a game of cards.

BucksLocalNews.com reports that an arrest warrant has been issued for Tony Blount. Aggravated assault, burglary and reckless endangerment are some of the charges lodged against the suspect.

The 31-year-old is accused of attacking a 44-year-old Lincoln Avenue man on Saturday evening, police tell the website.

The victim, who claims that a guitar was smashed over his head during the attack, received nearly two dozen staples at the hospital. The man also received numerous other wounds all over his body, the report said.

Saturday night's callous attack is believed by investigators to be related to an incident that ensued after a card game early Saturday morning.

BucksLocalNews.com reports Blount was involved in the Saturday morning incident and returned at night with another man to the Lincoln Avenue home of the victim.

No word from police on whether the man who escorted Blount Saturday night would be facing charges

I would like to say it was amazing watching these future Hall of Famers at 8 years old fightingRead More through the weather and playing the 5 games in 2 days. They were tougher than many of the adults! I remember my days with Levittown American Little League playing in the 8-9 year old division and these boys would have taken us out! It would not have been close. Great Job to all and Congrats to Team Neshaminy...do you know how hard it is to say that as a Pennsbury Grad? I look forward to the next tournament!
