Middletown Hit-and-Run Victim Dies
A week after he was struck by a car on New Falls Road, John Rearick, 23, died on Sunday.
On Saturday, July 22, at about 12:30 a.m., , 23, was struck by a Cadillac while crossing New Falls Road in Middletown. Rearick died from his injures Sunday, July 28.
Police are now trying to use surveillance video to catch the driver.
The video shows the Cadillac travelling westbound on New Falls Road near the and coming to a stop after the collision. Then the driver steers around Rearick’s body and turns left into the Plumbridge section of Levittown.

Police describe the car as a red or maroon Cadillac, possibly 2000 or newer, and it will likely have front-end damage.
