Middletown Softball Field Receives $20,000 Makeover

The money will be used to improve the softball field.

The softball field at the corner of Woodbourne and Trenton roads in Middletown is looking better than ever thanks a generous $20,000 gift.

The Middletown Athletic Association field was renewed after winning the “Diamonds & Dreams” contest, according to the group. The program is sponsored by Chevrolet, Scotts Miracle-Gro Company and Ripken Design.

Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick recently visited the field to see the improvements.
