Middletown Township Police Arrest 24-Year-Old NJ Man

Middletown Township police said a traffic stop led to a driving under the influence arrest on Tuesday.

Police said Douglas Robert Martin, 24, of Hainesport, N.J. was arrested for DUI on East Lincoln Highway at Reedman Motors at 11:06 p.m. Tuesday.

Police also reported other crimes.

The driver’s window of a 1998 Buick, parked on Deep Dale Drive East, was smashed sometime between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. on Tuesday, a victim told police. Also, two other vehicles at the location were keyed and possibly shot with a BB gun. The value of the damage to the vehicles was not immediately known.

Someone took several medications and money from a parked motor home in the 300 block of East Lincoln Highway at 1:33 p.m. Tuesday, police reported. The value of the items taken was not known.
