Middletown Township Police Make DUI, Theft Arrests

Middletown Township police said they made three arrests.

A 45-year-old Levittown resident was arrested following a traffic stop on New Falls Road near Route 413 at 1:10 a.m. on Tuesday. Police said Francisco Renteria Arias faces driving under the influence charges.

A 45-year-old Philadelphia resident was arrested after police said she stole nearly $73 worth of merchandise from Sesame Place at 4:47 p.m. on Monday. Police said Theresa Cooper faces retail theft charges.

Police said Michael Surgent, 24, of Levittown, was arrested following an incident at K-Mart at 5:58 p.m. on Monday. Surgent faces charges of retail theft, receiving stolen property and sale or illegal use of certain solvents. He was arraigned before DJ Peranteau and remanded to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
