One Injured After Van Smashes Into Levittown Home

Crash knocks out power in the Scarlet Oak Road area.

At least one person was injured when a van smashed into a Levittown home Wednesday morning. 

It happened at Scarlet Oak Road shortly before 9 a.m., according to Breaking News Network reports. 

A van crashed into and went through the side of home causing substantial structural damage and knocking out power in the area, according to reports.

PECO crews were called to the scene to restore power to the area.

One person was reportedly transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known. There was no immediate word on whether the homeowners were home at the time.
