Philadelphia Man Arrested In Croydon Theft

Bristol Township police reported one arrest, several thefts and acts of vandalism in the area. 

Philadelphia resident Dennis Sirott, 58, was arrested and charged with theft after a lawn mower was stolen from a home on Fifth Avenue in Croydon, according to police. Sirott was arraigned at District Court No. 2 and sent to Bucks County Prison. His bail was set at $30,000.

Police said a camera and a laptop computer, valued at about $438, were reported stolen from an apartment on Marion Avenue in Levittown sometime between 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 9 and 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 10.

A burglar smashed the front window of a home on Bristol Pike in Croydon and took an undertermined amount of cash at 5:44 a.m. on Nov. 10, police reported.

An apartment at Bristol Pike in Croydon was also burglarized sometime between 11 a.m. on Nov. 9 and 2 p.m. on Nov. 10, police reported.

Jewelry and medication were reported stolen from a home on First Avenue in Croydon after a burglar gained entry through a rear door sometime between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Nov. 10, police reported.

Police reported a burglar took jewelry and coins after gaining entry through the rear door of a home on Holly Drive in Levittown sometime between 7:15 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Nov. 10. 

About $30 of cash was stolen from 2006 Chevrolet that was parked at Prospect Avenue in Croydon, police reported at 6:40 a.m. on Nov. 10. 

Two doors were stolen from a 1995 Jeep that was parked at Veterans Highway in Bristol, police reported at 9:39 a.m. on Nov. 10. 

Eight copper air conditioning coils from four air conditioners, valued at $1,600, were stolen from Durham Road in Bristol sometime between Sept. 1 and Nov. 10, police said it was reported at 1:38 p.m. on Nov. 10. 

A GPS system, valued at $200, was stolen from a vehicle parked at Spencer Drive in Croydon, police reported at 2:50 p.m. on Nov. 10. 

A $100 cell phone was stolen from a home on Bristol Pike in Croydon sometime between 9 p.m. on Nov. 9 and 1 a.m. on Nov. 10, police reported. 

All four tires on a 1994 Chevrolet, parked at Ford Road in Bristol, were punctured by vandals, police reported at 5:46 a.m. on Nov. 10. 

The gas tank door on a 2001 Acura, parked at Parkside Circle in Levittown, was broken by vandals, police reported at 2:48 p.m. on Nov. 10.
