Police: 27-Year-Old Woman Screams For Help, Would-Be Robber Flees

A victim told police she walked out to her vehicle and started it up when a man brandished a small handgun and told her to open the door.

Bristol Township police said they are investigating an attempted robbery. 

A 27-year-old woman told police she walked out to her vehicle and started it up when a man brandished a small handgun and told her to open the door.

It happened at Veterans Highway in Bristol at 6:06 a.m. on Nov. 12.

Police said the victim told them with the car's doors locked, she pressed on the horn and screamed for help and that's when the would-be robber fled to a vehicle that was parked behind hers. Nothing was taken.

Police said the victim described the man as black, in his 20s with light facial hair. He was wearing a gray or dark-colored hooded sweatshirt.
