Police: 3 Arrested For Counterfeit Money

Middletown Township police said three Philadelphia residents were arrested for attempting to pass counterfeit money.

Police said they were called to at the Langhorne Square Shopping Center at about 9 p.m Saturday when a vendor became suspicious of three individuals.

Leo Dartoe, 21, Carter Jackson, 24, and Sheikh Ansumara Kosha, 24, face charges, according to police.

Police said several other arrests were also made over the weekend.

Levittown resident Jeffrey Sands, 22, was arrested at a CSX Transportation property on West Cabot Boulevard on Monday, police said. Sands, who was previously wanted by the Bucks County Sheriff’s Department, faces trespassing and theft charges, according to police.

Joshua Deblieck, 18, of Levittown, was arrested Saturday when he attempted to steal $50 worth of merchandise from a Macy’s at Oxford Valley Mall, police said.

Police said John Laycock, 31, was arrested for public drunkenness. It happened at the Super Wawa on Oxford Valley Road at about 4:30 a.m. Sunday.

Matthew Oliveira, 23, of Levittown, was arrested on parole violation as a result of a domestic dispute on Friday, according to police.

Police said three people were arrested on driving under the influence charges.

After a traffic stop on Trenton Road at 5 a.m. Saturday, Jamar Brittingham, 21, of Levittown, was arrested on DUI charges, police said.

Langhorne resident Bradley Wang, 24, faces DUI and the possession of a controlled substance charges following an arrested at 9:06 a.m. Saturday, police said.

In addition to the arrests, two instances of theft over the weekend were reported by police.

Three pairs of sunglasses were stolen out of a Pearle Eye Lab on 2340 East Lincoln Highway on Saturday, police said. The items were valued at a combined $600.

Police said a display cellphone was reported stolen from the AT&T store in the Oxford Valley Mall sometime at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday. A Motorola Atrix phone, valued at $500, was ripped from its display case, police said.

Several instances of criminal mischief were also over the weekend, police said.

While on patrol, officers spotted four juveniles attempting to set off fire crackers in a wooded area between Fairless Hills and Yardley on Friday. Police said the minors were cited.

A home on Cliff Road was vandalized sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Saturday. The siding on the home was shot with numerous paint balls.
