Police: 47-Year-Old Bristol Man Arrested

William Thompson, 47, of Bristol, was arrested on a PFA violation, according to police. It happened at Schumacher Drive in Bristol at 10:28 p.m. on Feb. 28. Thompson was arraigned at District Court No. 3 with bail set at $10,000. He was sent to Bucks County Prison. 

David Leighton, 22, of Croydon, was arrested on a bench warrant and released to Bucks County Sherriff's, police said. The arrest happened at Carles Avenue in Croydon at 6:53 p.m. on Feb. 28.

Sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. on Feb. 28 a burglar gained entry to a location on Vineyard Road in Levittown through a first floor window and took jewelry, a laptop computer and cash. Police said it was reported at 5:45 p.m. on Feb. 28.  

Sometime between 7 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 28 a 1999 Subaru, bearing Pennsylvania registration No. GBK1405, was stolen. The vehicle was parked at Crossing Drive in Bristol. The theft was reported at 12:09 p.m. on Feb. 28.

Sometime on the on Feb. 28, police said a GPS and a laptop were stolen from a 2004 Honda parked at Veterans Highway in Bristol. The approxiamate value of the items is $1,650. It was reported at 12:35 p.m. on Feb. 28. 

Sometime between 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 14 and Feb. 28 copper piping, worth approximately $2,000, was stolen from a location on Radcliffe Street in Bristol, according to police. It was reported at 3:44 p.m. on Feb. 28. 

Police report a vandal smashed a window on a 1996 Toyota, parked at Blueridge Drive in Levittown, sometime overnight causing approxiamately $200 in damages. It was reported at 8:59 a.m. on Feb. 28. 

Sometime overnight a vandal pulled down phone and cable wires at Openwood Lane in Levittown, police said. It was reported at 11:56 a.m. on Feb. 28.
