Cops Arrest 3 on Outstanding Warrants

In a matter of 18 hours, Bristol Township police took three people into custody for outstanding warrants last week.

Douglas Kurth, 23, of Fairless Hills, was the first of the three taken into custody Thursday at 11:28 a.m. The 23-year-old was arrested in the 700 block of Fairbridge Drive in Fairless Hills on an active warrant. Kurth was turned over to the custody of the Bucks County Sheriff’s Department, police said.

Next, police arrested 20-year-old Levittown resident James Dougherty after officers came into contact with him at Lower Bucks Hospital at 2:23 p.m. Police took the man into custody without incident and turned him over to the Philadelphia Police Department Warrant Unit, authorities said.

The busy period was capped off at 5:35 a.m. when police arrested Waldemar Oquendo, 33, of Levittown at the Wawa in the 7700 block of New Falls Road. Officers found Oquendo drunk at the store and discovered he was wanted on a parole violation. Several officers needed to subdue to 33-year-old after he did not follow police commands. He was cited with disorderly conduct and public intoxication and turned over to sheriffs, police said.
