Police: EZ-Pass Theft, Other Thefts Reported

Bristol Township police said a series of crimes from Tuesday through Wednesday were reported.

Police said an EZ-pass was stolen from a 1997 Mercury parked on Begonia Lane in Levittown. It happened sometime on Monday, police said.

A light bar was stolen off the top of a parked vehicle on Ford Road in Bristol sometime overnight on April 3, according to police. The light bar was valued at $800.

A GPS system was stolen out of a parked 2001 Hyundai on Rosa Avenue in Croydon. Police said the unidentified subject broke into the Hyundai sometime between late Saturday night and early Sunday morning. The GPS system is valued at approximately $210.

Police said $700 worth of copper rods were stolen sometime early last week. The rods were removed from a cell tower at Bowen Avenue in Levittown.

Someone dismantled an external air conditioning unit at a residence on Iris Road in Levittown sometime Sunday night. The copper components of the unit were ripped out. The value of the damage and parts is approximately $2,000.

Two more air conditioners were hit earlier last week, police said. Sometime on March 30 two units were stolen from the side of a building on Veteran's Highway in Bristol. The value of both units was $6,000.

Police said sometime between 5 p.m and 10 p.m on Tuesday, someone gained entry to a laundry room at a facility on Marion Avenue in Levittown, cut and removed the outlet cords from the washing units within the facility.

A collection of tools were stolen from a trailer on Franklin Avenue in Croydon sometime overnight last Thursday. Police said the collection's value was $3,000.

Hand tools were also removed from a vehicle on Brookside Avenue in Bristol. The tools, valued at $500, were removed from the parked vehicle sometime between midday Monday and Tuesday.

All four tires of a parked car were removed overnight Monday, police said. The vehicle was parked on Brookside Avenue in Bristol. The total value of the tires were approximately $500.

Police said several instances of vandalism were also reported in the township during the first half of the week.

Sometime Sunday a vehicle, parked on Colonial Avenue in Bristol, was vandalized. The 2001 Ford had gas put in its gas tank and its exterior scratched. Police said the total cost of the damages is estimated at nearly $800.

Police said someone damaged a temporary carport and pole at a home on Eugene Drive in Bristol sometime early this week. The cost of the damage is approximately $200.

Police said all four tires of a 2001 Chevrolet, parked on New Falls Road in Levittown, were slashed overnight last Thursday. The value of the damages is approximately $150.
