Rogaine Bandit Strikes Fairless Hills Drug Store

Bristol Township police report a robbery involving men's hair-growth product at CVS.

Bristol Township police said a man in a black hoodie and blue jeans walked into the CVS on South Oxford Valley Road in Fairless Hills on Saturday afternoon and left with five “Rogaine” brand hair-growth products. The individual took them off the shelf and casually walked out. The approximate value of the lost goods is $250.

Police said several other instances of theft this week were also reported.

A thief broke into a storage unit at Four Storage on Ford Road in Bristol on Thursday night, according to police. The individual cut the lock and stole five fishing reels as well as antique railroad engines and cars. Police said the value was just under $2,000.

Police said the glass mirror from the side view mirror of a 2002 Chevrolet parked on Mitchell Road in Levittown was removed last Thursday night. The value of just the mirror was valued at $100.

An unidentified burglar broke into an empty home on Grasspond Road in Levittown Friday night, according to police. The burglar entered the house and stole copper piping from two rooms.

A 2000 Chevrolet was broken into overnight Sunday, police said. The Chevy was parked outside of a residence on Emilie Road in Levittown. Thieves removed a cell phone and a wallet from inside the vehicle.

Overnight between Saturday and Sunday a garage was broken into at a residence on Veterans Highway in Bristol, according to police. A four-wheel ATV was taken from the garage. The culprit pried opened a steel door to gain entry into the garage, police said.

In addition to the thefts, Bristol police said at least one instance of vandalism and several arrests were reported.

Police said a vandal slashed all four tires on a 2004 Chevrolet that was parked outside of a home on River Road in Croydon on Thursday night. The damage was believed to be about $800. River Road was the same stretch of road that saw a string of thefts and breakins last week.

John Posluszny, 24, and Robert Mitchell, 39, were both arrested Sunday night individually on separate charges in Bristol, according to police.
