Search Continues for Missing Langhorne Woman

Kathleen Waibel was reporting missing after she did not show up for work on Monday.

Lower Southampton Police are searching for a woman who has been missing since Monday.

Katherine Waibel, of Langhorne, was reported missing after not making it to her job in Newtown Township.

Police said she was last seen at 6:30 a.m. Monday morning by her granddaughter; however, no clothing description is available as she reportedly changed clothes after the last contact. 

Waibel drives a gold 2010 Chrysler Sebring 2-door convertible with a Penna. license plate number of EYK8806.

According to police, she has a history of diabetes but no other significant medical or mental health issues.

Police said Verizon has tracked her cellphone to several area locations in Bristol Township, Lower Makefield Township and Ewing, NJ. They report the latest ping placed the phone in Mercer County, NJ.  

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Waibel, or thinks they might have seen her this past week, is asked to call Lower Southampton Police radio at 215-357-1235 or 911 with any information.
