Separate Wawa Stores Struck By Thieves

According to the Bristol Township police, two Wawa convenience stores were hit by two separate men on the same day. Last Thursday, a man at the Wawa on Emilie Road in Levittown by store employees taking four packs of cigarettes from behind the counter. The staff described as a man with short blonde hair, wearing a red T-shirt and black shorts.

A similar incident happened last Thursday at the Wawa on Veteran's Highway in Bristol. Staff told police that at about 12 a.m., a man wearing a dark-hooded sweatshirt crouched down behind the counter and stole four packs of cigarettes.

Several other instances of theft were reported between Wednesday and Thursday.

Sometime between 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Wednesday, someone broke through the driver side window of a 1999 Chevrolet that parked outside a location on New Falls Road in Levittown. The thief stole a handgun, wallet, cell phone, two pairs of sunglasses, a scan tool and a flashlight. Police said the total value for these items was approximately $1,250.

Last Wednesday, between 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., a thief broke into a parked vehicle on Black Walnut Road in Levittown. Police said the thief stole a three-ton floor jack.

Police said that sometime between April 14 and April 19 someone broken into a home on Greenbrook Drive in Levittown and stole a Nintendo DSI game system, DS cartridges, and 360 game discs. The total value of the collection was approximately $900.

Three CDs were stolen from a 2006 Dodge which was parked on Gentle Road in Levittown sometime overnight last Tuesday.

Two acts of vandalism were also reported, accordng to police.

Police said sometime overnight last Tuesday someone stuck nails into the tires of a Toyota which was parked on Kentucky Lane in Levittown. Police estimate the cost of the damages to be about $300.

Sometime between noon on April 19 and 6 a.m. on April 20, police said someone scratched the driver's side door and rear side door of a parked 2007 Jeep on Llamberis Avenue in Bristol.
