Middletown police officers working the Christmas morning shift expect to have the intersection of Woodbourne and Oxford Valley roads closed until midday as they investigate a serious accident.
Police asked motorist to avoid the roadway as officers conduct an investigation into the crash.
According to MontcoAlerts' Twitter feed, emergency personnel were dispatched the location for a multi-vehicle accident just after 10 a.m. The report also indicated that several people were trapped.
