Thieves Strike Homes In Levittown

Bristol Township Police Blotter 6/10.

Bristol Township police reported several thefts in the area.

Someone broke into a home on Silver Birch Lane and stole a Flat-screen TV and a bicycle. Police said the individual gained entry to the building from the rear entrance sometime between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. on June 8.

Police also reported several other thefts in the past week.

A 2003 Chevrolet was stolen from outside of location on Veterans Highway in Bristol sometime on June 7. Bristol Township Police said the incident occurred between midnight and 1 a.m.

Another vehicle, a 1989 Honda with a New Jersey license plate, was reported stolen last week, police said. The car was parked outside of Bloomsdale Road in Levittown and was stolen at an unknown date and time.

Police said at about 10 a.m. June 8 someone stole a 1999 Mitsubishi. The vehicle was parked on Nancy Drive in Croydon at the time of the incident.

A GPS device and several retail gift cards were stolen from a vehicle overnight on June 7 outside of Newport Road in Bristol. Police said the items were valued at $255.

A registration sticker for a 2000 Chevrolet was removed sometime overnight June 7. Police said the Chevrolet was parked outside a location on Bristol Pike in Croydon at the time of the incident.

Two homes on Cedar Avenue in Croydon were struck by a thief sometime last week, police reported. A $300 cassette recorder was stolen from inside one home, while another home on Cedar Avenue's tool shed was reportedly raided, someone removing $628 worth of tools.

Several instances of vandalism in the past week were also reported to police.

Police said a 2008 Pontiac's windshield was cracked overnight on June 8 on Steele Avenue in Bristol. Police said both the extent of the damage and what was used to to cause the damage, is currently unknown.

Someone smashed a window of a Nissan on Oaktree Drive in Levittown overnight last Thursday. Police estimate the cost of the window to be around $150.

Two vehicles, a Kia and a Ford truck, were vandalized on Kentucky Lane in Levittown overnight last Thursday. Police said an unidentified individual flattened the driver side tires of both vehicles, inflicting around $300 of damage.
