Three Arrested for Armed Robbery After Weekend Chase

A fourth suspect remains at large after Saturday's robbery of a tobacco store in Bristol.

Multiple police departments chased down a fleeing vehicle through Falls Township after four New Jersey men allegedly robbed a Bristol Township tobacco store at gunpoint Saturday afternoon, according to the Bucks County Courier Times.

Three of the men have been arrested and charged with multiple felonies, while the fourth suspect remains at large, LevittownNow.com reports.

Jonathan Martinez Gonzalez, 28, of Newark; Jose Ayala Silva, 23, of East Orange; and Joel Torres, 23, of Somerset, have been sent to Bucks County prison in lieu of 10 percent payment of $500,000 bail.

According to multiple news outlets, police say the four men entered the Levittown Distributors on Harmer Street in Bristol and held employees at gunpoint while stealing a cashbox containing approximately $80,000.

The alleged gunmen's retreat was interrupted by heavy traffic on Route 13. With the aid of witnesses following the suspects' vehicle, police officers followed the car before it was abandoned on Bordentown Road in Falls Township, the Courier Times reports.

K-9 units from Lower Makefield tracked down the three suspects and placed them in custody. The search remains active for the fourth man, officials told LevittownNow.com.
