Tire Thefts Reported in Levittown Communities

Five sets of wheels and tires were stolen from vehicles in Falls and Middletown this week.

Falls and Middletown police departments report a string of tire thefts from vehicles in Levittown neighborhoods since Monday.

According to a release from the Falls police department, two cars at the Nolan Park Apartments had all four tires stolen some time during the overnight between Jan. 18 and 19. 

The Middletown police department reports that a car parked in the Mike Piazza Honda lot had its tires stolen between Jan. 20 and 21. The next night, two more cars parked at Middletown apartment complexes had all four wheels and tires taken.

The thefts at the Nolan Park Apartments as reported by Falls include:

  • The wheels and tires of a 2009 black Honda Accord had been removed. The victim parked the car at 9 p.m. Jan. 18 and found the vehicle supported by cinder blocks the next morning.
  • The second victim told police he parked his car at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 18 and found his car also supported by cinder blocks the next morning. Police report the estimated value at $3,000.
The Middletown thefts include the following incidents:
  • Mike Piazza Honda at East Lincoln Highway reported that sometime overnight between Jan. 20 and 21 that the wheels and tires from a 2014 Honda parked in the lot were taken. 
  • A victim at the Racquet Club Apartments told police the tires and wheels were stolen from his 2008 Honda between 5:30 p.m. Jan. 21 and 6 a.m. Jan. 22. The estimated value of the tires is listed at $3,200.
  • Sometime between 2 a.m. and noon Jan. 22, a victim at Middletown Trace Apartments had his tires and wheels removed from his 2007 Acura. The value is listed at $1,500.
