Twin Oak Neighborhood Riddled With Thefts From Cars

Someone ransacked a dozen cars overnight Thursday.

Last week, between 11 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday someone had a field day rifling through cars in the Twin Oak Section, according to Middletown Towsnhip police. Victims reported someone entered their cars and removed:
* Sunglasses and identifications from a 2006 Honda parked on Tinder Road. Value of items reported taken was $200. 
* A man’s wallet from an unlocked 2002 Chevrolet parked on Terrace Road. Estimated value of loss is $45.
*  iPod earphones and loose change from a 2013 Honda parked on Terrace Road and. Estimated value of loss is $25. 
* Sunglasses, change and assorted other items from a 2011 Cadillac and a 1998 Chevrolet Malibu parked on Trail Road. Estimated value of loss is $25. 
* A cell phone charger from a 2004 Mercedes that was parked on Terrace Road. Estimated value of loss is $5. 
* Three pair of sunglasses from a 2006 GMC that was parked on Turf Road. Estimated value of loss is $140. 
* A GPS unit from a 2001 Infiniti that was parked on Trail Road. Estimated value of loss is $100. 
* Loose change from a 2011 Nissan parked on Trail Road. 
* A cell phone charger and some loose change from a 2012 Nissan and a 2013 Kia that were parked on Terrace Road. 
* Two vehicles—a 2005 Chrysler parked on Trail Road and a 2005 Ford  parked on Terrace Road—were ransacked but nothing was taken, police said.
