Vandal Shoots BB Pellets Into Van; Purse Snatcher Strikes In Levittown

Police said a vandal shot BB pellets into the rear window of a Honda Odyssey van parked at Stonybrook Drive in Levittown. It was reported at 1:01 p.m. on April 19. The cost to replace the window was approximately $500.

Sometime overnight a vandal shattered the rear window of a Lexus with a large-sized rock, according to police. The vehicle was parked in the driveway of a home at Fairway Avenue in Bristol. The cost to replace the window was approximately $500. It was reported at 6:15 a.m. on April 20.

A woman told police someone stole her purse while she went to get her child who had just run off in Orangewood Park at Orangewood Drive in Levittown. It happened at 12:54 p.m. on April 17. The purse contained credit cards, a cell phone and small amount of cash, police said.

A thief took a new maroon Fit BMX bicycle from the bike rack in front of the YMCA, according to police. It happened at the YMCA on South Oxford Valley Road in Fairless Hills at 6:55 p.m. on April 18. Police said the bike was not locked.

Police said sometime overnight someone stole a 2001 White Nissan Maxima, with a white apple sticker on the back of the vehicle, from the driveway of a home at Rockview Drive in Bristol. It was reported at 5:44 a.m. on April 21. The approximate value of the vehicle is $8,000.

At approximately 11:15 p.m. on April 21, the passenger side window of a Ford Truck, parked at Platte Road in Fairless Hills, was shattered with a flashlight. A wallet and a small amount of cash were taken, according to police. It was reported at 11:17 p.m. on April 21.

While a woman was loading groceries into her vehicle at New Falls Road in Levittown, a thief took her purse out of the shopping cart, according to police. It was reported at 1:12 p.m. on April 22.
