Warrant Issued in Middletown Carjacking

Middletown police have issued an arrest warrant against a man suspected of holding a woman at gunpoint on New Year's Day and forcing her to drive to the Snowball gate section of Levittown.

Middletown police have issued a warrant against a suspect in the New Year's Day carjacking that occurred at Foxwood Manor Apartments.

Barry Joe Moyer, 32, is wanted for holding a woman at gunpoint and ordering her to drive to the Snowball Gate section of Levittown at 4:41 a.m. Jan. 1. Police say he took the victim's money and cell phone, ordered her out of the vehicle and drove off in her white 2013 Toyota Camry sedan.

Police describe Moyer as white male, six-feet tall, weighing 175 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair. He is considered armed and dangerous. If anybody sees Moyer or knows his whereabouts, contact police at (215) 750-3845.
