Woman Finds Burglar in Her Bedroom

Bristol Police report five burglaries in three days, two on Jonquil Lane.

A Jonquil Lane resident in Bristol Township woke up at about 1 a.m. Saturday and found a man standing in her bedroom.

Police report that the man, described as a tall, thin, black male wearing a white tee shirt, black shorts and a baseball hat, ran out a rear door when discovered.

The next day, at about noon Sunday, another Jonquil Lane resident reported a burglary overnight.

Police said someone attempted to enter the home by breaking a window, but the person did not get in.

  • On Sunday, at about 12:30 a.m., a resident in the 700 Block Newpotrville Road reported several broken windows and doors, but the unidentified victim was unable to determine if anything was missing from the home.
  • On Monday, at 9:33 a.m., a resident in the 100 block Goldengate Road reported someone entered the house through an unlocked window and took tools from inside worth about $175.
  • On Monday at 4:43 p.m., the manager for a property on Grand Pine Road told police that someone entered the home and removed baseboard heaters and copper piping.
