Alleged Gun Shooting, Drug Snorting Pilot Waives Preliminary

The aircraft pilot accused of taking drugs and then firing a gun into the wall of his Middletown apartment waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Thursday and will next face trail at county court in Doylestown, court clerks said.
Justin Levitt, 29, is set to face trial on a felony charge of discharge of a firearm into occupied structure. He also faces four misdemeanor charges of reckless endangering another person and a single charge of possession of marijuana and use/possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show.
Police said Levitt fired a gun last into the wall Thursday night after admitting he snorted heroin. He first told police that a "bad dream" caused incident, PhillyBurbs.com reported.

The Associated Press reported that officers found bottles of urine in the apartment. The news agency reported that he used the urine to pass drug tests required for his to keep his pilot's license.
