The cermonial signing of Rep. Frank Farry's House Bill which provides insurance protection for those with cancer was postponed in the wake of Hurricane Irene.
Gov. Tom Corbett's visit to a Langhorne-Middletown Firehouse was canceled after news of Hurricane Irene's visit.
Corbett was scheduled to attend ceremonial signing of House Bill 747, sponsored by Rep Frank Farry at the Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company North Station on Monday.
"As a firefighter for more than 20 years, I whole-heartedly share the governor’s concern and commitment to public safety," Farry said on his website. "This is predicted to be the worst storm to hit our area in recent memory. The governor is right to focus his attention... and to be prepared to respond accordingly."
