County to Spray for Mosquitos in Croydon Thursday

The Bucks County Health Department is conducting the spray in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.

The Bucks County Health Department has announced a mosquito control spray in Croydon on Thursday, June 5.

The county is conducting the spray in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. It will begin at dusk, weather permitting. 

The area to be sprayed includes all streets east of Route 13 from the Neshaminy State Park, including the marina area, and then north to Elm Avenue.

The application chemical, Duet from Clarke Mosquito Company, will be released at a rate of one ounce per acre.

The spray will be conducted using a lead vehicle and a spray truck. Both vehicles will have County of Bucks identification on the side doors.
