County to Spray in Bristol Township for Mosquitos

The Bucks County Health Department will spray the Croydon area of Bristol Township for adult mosquitoes on Monday, July 9.

There have been no human cases of West Nile virus in Pennsylvania so far this year, according to the state Department of Environmental Protection, but three mosquitoes have been collected in Bucks County with the disease.

For mosquito control, the Bucks County Health Department, in conjunction with the DEP, will conduct an adult mosquito spray on Monday, July 9, between 7:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. - weather permitting - in the Croydon area of Bristol Township.

The borders of the spray will be from Neshaminy State Park to Cedar Avenue to the north, the Delaware River to the east and State Road to the West.
