Wintry Mix Falls Throughout Bucks County

Freezing Rain Makes Morning Commute Slippery

The National Weather Service said a winter weather advisory for Bucks County was downgraded to a winter storm warning which remains in effect until 12 p.m. Tuesday.

Between one-tenth and one-quarter of an inch of freezing rain accumulated during the morning commute. The freezing rain changed to plain rain by noon as temperatures rose above the freezing mark, according to the NWS.

Sleet and freezing rain followed several inches of the snow that fell in the region overnight Monday. The NWS said some areas received one to four inches of snow.
