Climate Change the Subject of Special Program at BCCC

The presentation, called "Climate Reality: 2013 Update," is free and open to the public.

A Newtown resident who has been trained in the subject of climate change by former Vice President Al Gore will be giving three presentations this week at Bucks County Community College.

During the program, Steve Bacher, a Newtown Township resident, will give an updated version of the slideshow made famous by Al Gore in the movie, “An Inconvenient Truth.”

The presentation, called  "Climate Reality: 2013 Update," is free and open to the public. It will be held on the college's Newtown campus in Room 128 of Tyler Hall. Bacher will present the program three times: Wednesday at noon and Thursday at 12:30 and 7:30 p.m.

Bacher is part of the Climate Reality Project, a grassroots network of more than 6,000 people who have been personally trained by former Vice President Al Gore.

Bacher is available to deliver presentations in venues throughout the community—schools, homes, places of worship, businesses and government forums.

Contact Bacher at climate.bacher@hotmail.com to set up a climate reality presentation or request one online by clicking here.
