Internationally-Recognized Pianist To Perform At PBU

Renowned pianist Bradford Gowen will perform at Philadelphia Biblical University's School of Music and Performing Arts on Monday.

 

Internationally-recognized pianist Bradford Gowen will perform at Philadelphia Biblical University’s School of Music and Performing Arts during a recital on Monday, according to a news release.

The free recital is open to the community and takes place at 8 p.m. in PBU's Chatlos Chapel. 

Gowen has been on the faculty at the University of Maryland since 1981 currently serves as an Associate Professor and the Chair of the Piano Division.

He also taught at the Levine School of Music in Washington, D.C. for three years. In 2005, Gowen joined the faculty of the Washington Conservatory of Music. He is one of the 48 pianists featured in Benjamin Saver's 1993 book The Most Wanted Piano Teachers in the USA.
