Middle School Bands Take the Stage at Pennsbury Jazz Festival
The high school groups were the star attractions, but the middle schoolers did just fine, thanks.
Pennsbury hosted its 32nd annual jazz festival, Jazz at Pennsbury, Saturday evening, featuring the high schools concert jazz band and jazz lab band, as well as ensembles from Princeton High School, Holmdel High School, Camden Creative Arts High School and Willingboro High School.
Pennsbury fans were also treated to the future of the district's jazz program as the middle school ensembles also performed. Featured in the video are the Pennwood jazz band directed by Jonathon Rees, the Charles Boehm jazz band directed by Sam D'Aversa and the William Penn jazz band directed by James D'Alicandro.
