Names Of 5 Servicemen Added PHS Wall Of Honor

The names of five service men were added to the Wall of Honor during an annual ceremony at Pennsbury High School West campus.

The names of five service men were added to the Wall of Honor during an annual ceremony at Pennsbury High School West campus.

PHS class of ’67 graduate Brian Delate was the guest of honor. He spoke about Memorial Day and performed the Crispin Day Speech commonly referred to as the 'Band of Brothers' speech.

PHS teacher Paul Greiner organizes the event each year the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. Students, faculty and others submitted names.

Ninth grade student Cameron Hansen submitted the name of TSgt. William Luth. He was a ski trooper in the U.S. Army who was killed in action during World War II.

Staff member Robert Weik submitted Sgt. Franz-Josef R. Weik’s name. He was a USAAF Turret Gunne and was killed in action during World War II.

The family of ninth grader Tyler Schrader submitted two names. Sgt. William H. Haworth and Second Lt. Ronald Siengo, both members of U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, were killed in action.

Staff member David Evans submitted Tec4 Leonard F. Rafferty’s names. He was a member of the U.S. Army and was killed in action.
