Neshaminy Student's Beyoncé Video Goes Viral

A sixteen-year-old Neshaminy High School junior is getting attention from singer Beyoncé for a copy-cat version he made of her "Countdown" video.

A 16-year-old Neshaminy High School student has made a huge splash in pop culture the last few weeks for his remake of a Beyoncé video.

Ton Do-Nguyen, who is the junior class president, made a frame-by-frame parody of Beyoncé's "Countdown" video, which was released last October. By November, Do-Nguyen was in production of his copy-cat version, with one wardrobe exception. He wears a blue Snuggie.

As a result, Do-Nguyen's video went viral when he posted it earlier this month and it now has nearly 1,000,000 views.

The pop star herself posted Do-Nguyen's video on her website calling it brilliant:

I Think he did this video better than I did :)

Since then, Do-Nguyen's video has appeared on MSN, CBS News, ABC News, Yahoo, VH1, MTV and countless webpages.

Do-Nguyen told phillyburbs.com, 'It took months and months of work. I would practice in the mirror, shoot the footage, and then edit that part. Shoot and edit, shoot and edit. I’m glad all the hard work paid off.'

In numerous interviews, he said he made the video just for fun, putting his TV Production class he took last year to good use. But when Beyoncé praised his "Snuggie Version," he was ecstatic.

'That was literally the best moment of my life — hands down,' he told MTV News. "I was scared she would get mad. ... When she posted it on her wall and everything, it was so positive."
