Fallsington Elementary School’s principal rewarded his students for their reading accomplishments in a unique way.

Students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade were challenged to log 1 million minutes of reading time. They not only met that goal, but exceeded it.

For their efforts, Principal Dave Hughes had to make good on his promise to break a board with his head in a special karate move with the assistance of Action Karate’s Ken Ogborn.
