Walt Disney Elementary to Get New Principal

Pennsbury administrators are recommending a new principal for to replace outgoing , who recently retired.

After a series of interviews with numerous candidates, Laurie A. Ruffing was chosen to fill the spot. She an elementary principal in the Morrisville School District, earned a Master’s degree in Administration from the University of Scranton and a Bachelor’s Elementary Education from the Pennsylvania State University, according to a Pennsbury press release

Ruffing still needs to be approved by the at its Aug. 30 meeting. She will lead the faculty and staff of Walt Disney Elementary beginning this fall.

School starts Sept. 4.
