Your New Year's Day College Football Viewing Schedule

Six bowl games will be played starting at noon and ending with the Fiesta Bowl at 8:30.

For college football fans, New Year’s Day could be the best day of the year, with bowl games going from noon to midnight.

For many, the highlight is the 100th Rose Bowl in Pasadena—the granddaddy of them all—at 5 p.m. on ESPN, with Stanford playing Michigan State.

Here’s the full day’s viewing schedule:

  • Gator Bowl: Nebraska vs. Georgia, noon, ESPN2
  • Heart of Dallas Bowl: North Texas vs. UNLV, noon ESPNU
  • Capital One Bowl: Wisconsin vs. South Carolina, 1 p.m., ABC
  • Outback Bowl: Iowa vs. LSU, 1 p.m., ESPN
  • Rose Bowl: Stanford vs. Michigan State, 5 p.m. ESPN
  • Fiesta Bowl: University of Central Florida vs. Baylor, 8:30 p.m., ESPN
