Hanging Out In Lovely Langhorne Borough

Langhorne Borough gives you that quaint small town feeling and does a nice job preserving and celebrating its history with events and parades throughout the year.

Lately I’ve been spending a lot of time in Langhorne Borough. I usually just stop by the Pennswood Library once a month and visit the Langhorne Coffee House once or twice a week for breakfast or lunch. The coffee shop is close to my office and they have good food and great coffee. More recently, I signed my son up for both guitar lessons at R&M Music Studios on Bellevue Ave and golf lessons down the street at the Middletown County Club. So I’ve been hanging out in Langhorne Borough practically every day so far this summer.

One cool thing I’ve discovered by spending so much time there is that they have a Farmers Market in the summer at 115 W. Richardson Avenue every Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Fresh produce and products are available from local farmers like Milk House Farm. Another is the free concerts in the park at Maple and Bellevue during the summer.

Langhorne Borough gives you that quaint small town feeling and does a nice job preserving and celebrating its history with events and parades throughout the year such as Harvest Day, Charles Dickens night, and “First Fridays.” The first Friday of the month from April to October from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. you can enjoy displays of work by local artists at Bella Tori Restaurant and the Langhorne Coffee House with outdoor performances by R&M Studios musicians.
