Snow Emergencies, School Closings and Cancellations in Levittown

Parked vehicles are required to clear the streets to make room for snow plows.

Residents in Bristol Township, Falls, Middletown and Tullytown will need to remove their parked cars from streets in Middletown and Tullytown as the two communities have become the first to declare snow emergencies for Tuesday impending snowstorm.

Tullytown's emergency begins at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Off-street parking will be available at Walt Disney School and the Tullytown Fire Company.

The Falls Township snow emergency begins at noon and remains active until Wednesday at 6 p.m. All vehicles must be removed from all designated Snow Emergency routes. Vehicles that are not moved can be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense.

The Falls Township supervisors meeting scheduled for Tuesday evening has been canceled.

Bristol Township's disaster emergency will be in effect from noon on Tuesday through 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

Bristol Township residents are to remove all vehicles,trailers and boats parked on township roadways to allow for clear passage of snow plows and emergency vehicles. Vehicles, trailers, and boats left parked on township roadways during the disaster emergency will be subject to ticketing and towing by the Bristol Township Police Department.

The Middletown Board of Supervisors Meeting for January 21 has been cancelled and rescheduled for Thursday, January 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Municipal Center.

All Middletown Parks and Recreation programs scheduled for January 21 have been cancelled.

Pennsbury, Bristol Township and Neshaminy schools are currently scheduled for early dismissal. Neshaminy High School will dismiss at 11 a.m., the middle schools at 11:30 a.m. and the elementary schools at 12:30 and 12:45 p.m. There will be no afternoon kindergarten.

In Pennsbury, the high school will dismiss at 10:30 a.m., the middle schools at 11:15 a.m., pre-Kindergarten students at 11:30 a.m. and elementary schools at noon. All after-school activities have been canceled. Tuesday's town hall meeting on the middle school feeder reconfiguration has been canceled and rescheduled for Jan. 28 at 7:30 p.m. in the Pennsbury East auditorium.

In Bristol Township school district, Truman High School will dismiss at 11 a.m., the middle schools at 11:30 a.m. and the elementary schools at noon. The school board meeting scheduled for Tuesday evening has been postponed to Jan. 28.
