Holiday Open House in Middletown, Holly Nights at Pennsbury Manor

Check out what's happening this week in Levittown.

  • Middletown Township hosts the annual open house to welcome the holiday season Thursday, beginning at 6 p.m. and lasting until 8 p.m. at the municipal complex. Come and enjoy the Neshaminy High School Orchestra, listen to carols sung by the Our Lady of Grace Children’s Choir and take a ride in a carriage drawn by regal, Belgian draft horses. Santa will arrive amid sirens on a fire truck and will visit with children. Don’t forget to bring a non-perishable food item, new mittens or gloves as your admission to this gala event. Items received will be donated to a local food pantry or assistance agency. Middletown Township wishes everyone a safe and happy holiday season.
  • Pennsbury Manor will become a winter wonderland this week when it hosts its annual Holly Nights Thursday and Friday between 6 and 9 p.m. Enjoy crackling bonfires, carolers, candlelit tours of the Manor House, craft demonstrations and musical entertainment from the Pennsbury Brass Ensemble, Levittown Choraliers, the Youth Orchestra of Bucks County's Honors String Quartet and more. Tickets cost $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and $6 for children ages 3-11 years old.
  • The Pennsbury and Neshaminy school boards will hold reorganization meetings Monday night, swearing in newly elected members. Neshaminy's will be held at 7 p.m. at the public meeting room, Pennsbury at 8 p.m. at the Fallsington Elementary meeting room.
