Route 13 Walkway Grand Opening, Mark Howe at Barnes & Noble

Check out what's happening this week around Levittown.

  • The long-awaited opening of a pedestrian passageway underneath busy Route 13 in Lower Bucks County will take place in Tullytown with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday at 2 p.m. The passageway will close a gap in the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Trail and connect the long-distance trail - and Delaware Canal State Park - with points south. The connection also brings the D&L Trail closer to other recreational trails in The Circuit Regional Trail Network. 
  • Matthew Schuler competes in the top 10 when he takes the stage Monday at 9 p.m. on NBC's The Voice
  • The Neshaminy School Board meets Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at the district meeting room at Maple Point Middle School in Langhorne. The agenda includes the consideration of granting a Neshaminy High School diploma to a veteran.
  • Philadelphia Flyers fans will have the opportunity to meet Hall of Fame legend Mark Howe at a book signing that he will conduct at Barnes & Noble located at 210 Commerce Blvd in Fairless Hills, on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. ET  Howe will be signing copies of his new autobiography Gordie Howe's Son: A Hall of Fame Life in the Shadow of Mr. Hockey.
  • Mostly clear this week, with temperatures in the upper 40s and lower 50s, according to the National Weather Service.
