Three Arches 300th Anniversary, Straight Talk on Drugs This Week in Levittown

  • Falls Township is celebrating the 300th anniversary of the Three Arches House on Saturday, Oct. 19 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. There will be refreshments, music, entertainment from Otto the Clown and Penn Woods Puppet Theater, face painting and historic walk throughs.
  • A group of Bucks County residents will gather at Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick's office on Tuesday at 4 p.m. and deliver a cease and desist order demanding that Fitzpatrick "stop practicing the extreme politics that are destroying the American dream," according to a press release.
  • On Wednesday at 6 p.m., the Bristol Township School District will host Straight Talk for Parents, a program designed to educate parents about emerging drug trends; signs and symptoms of teen drug use; and assists parents in the development of communication skills to speak and listen to their children about substance abuse. The presentation will take place at the Benjamin Franklin Auditorium.     
  • Mostly sunny at the beginning of the week, with chance of showers Wednesday and Thursday, according to the National Weather Service. The sun will come back on Friday, with temperatures in the high 60s, low 70s the whole week.
