Philly Beer Week Continues, Dozens of Events Planned This Weekend

Upcoming Beer Week events include a Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company two-year anniversary party on Saturday in Croydon.

The fun isn't over for local beer lovers. Philly Beer Week continues this weekend in Philadelphia, as well as surrounding counties.  

Beer Week goes through Sunday and features various festivals, dinners, tours and pub crawls in the city as well as Bucks, Delaware and Montgomery counties.

First held in 2008, organizers say the week-long celebration aims to highlight the region’s world-class breweries and diverse beer offerings.

  • Brunch featuring Ballast Point Brewing, Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lucky’s Last Chance, Manayunk
  • The Bean Brew Challenge with Reanimator Coffee & Philly Homebrew Club, Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sancho Pistolas
  • Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company two-year anniversary party, Saturday from noon to 7 p.m. at 909 Ray Ave, Croydon. 
  • South Street Beer Garden Grand Opening, Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. at Jon's Bar and Grille, 606 S. 3rd St.
  • Dogfish Head Tap Takeover, Saturday from noon to 11 p.m. at Via Marconi Pizza Pub, Hatfield
  • Belgian Beer & Cheese Pairing, Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. at The Foodery in Northern Liberties
  • Bacon and Beer, Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Prism Brewing Company, North Wales
  • Battle of the Brewers, Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. at Devil's Alley, 1907 Chestnut St.
