Tonight myself along with my friend were kicked out of Shenanigans. The night began shortly after 7 when my friend and I arrived to watch the Flyers game 7 against the Sabres. We made our way in, grabbed a seat at the bar (place was almost empty besides the people at the bar) and i ordered my first of quite a few beers of the night. My Friend, grabbed a menu and ordered himself dinner (being on a diet, he skipped ordering a beer) A short time later after a few beers, i too ordered dinner. So right now between my beers and both our dinners, we are at a tab of around $30. Right before my food comes out the bartender tells us that they are doing $2 shots for Flyers goals, and a sort time later, the flyers score and we order two shots of jagermeister. Flash forward about 2 hours, their is about 10 minutes left in the game, ive had 5 beers, 4 shots, chicken fingers and fries, and my sixth beer sitting in front of me freshly opened. Bar tab at this point is around $55-$60 between the two of us, when the owner comes over and informs us that "we cant just expect to sit at the bar all night, not order drinks and wait for the flyers to score to get shots" I quickly and politely (and i stress politely because i was VERY understanding with him) point out that ive just purchased another beer, and haven't not had a beer in front of me all night. Ten minutes later, Flyers score, we try and order shots and the owner tells us to "Get the F*** out" Great service....
