Walt Disney Elementary School

This historic elementary school was named for famed Walt Disney, who was present at the school's dedication in 1955. Disney was honored the school's children picked to name the school after him and sent artists to decorate the school, donning a Disney theme. The school's current principal Fay Manicke heads the kindergarten through fifth grade school, which is part of the Pennsbury School District. The school's mission is help students meet standards for learning and to take the proper steps to help children succeed. The school has a Title 1 program to provide additional support to children in need. There is also an active Parent Teacher Organization at this school.
