In some cases, county real estate taxes are also collected. Solid waste collection and disposal fees are among certain special township assessments also collected by this office.

The tax collector collects school district and township real estate taxes and, in some cases, county real estate taxes. Taxes levied under the authority of the Pennsylvania Local Tax Enabling Act (Act 511) such as the per capita tax may be appointed as part of the collection responsibility. This office is located on the second floor of this building. 

Bucks County Military Affairs

The Military Affairs department assists veterans with a variety of needs. This office is located in the GovernmentMore Services Complex building with its main entrance through the front of the building. There is also a veterans' memorial located in the rear of the building, adjacent to the Bucks County Library.

Veterans' services include benefits for burial allowance, headstone, flag and grave markers, emergency assistance, van schedule, disabled veterans and a real estate tax exemption program. The department also works in conjunction with the Travis Manion Foundation that provides assistance to wounded veterans and the families of fallen service members.
