Photo of Suspected 7-Eleven Robber Released by Middletown PD

The robbery occurred last Thursday at the store located at New Falls Road and Veterans Highway.

The Middletown Police Department has released photos taken from video surveillance footage from last week's robbery of the 7-Eleven store located on New Falls Road and Veterans Highway. On the morning of Feb. 28, a man walked into the store, told the clerk he had a gun and would shoot him, but he did not display a weapon. The suspect left the scene with a small amount of money, according to police. The individual was described by police as a white male, 20 to 30 years of age, wearing a dark gray sweatshirt and light gray sweatpants. Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call detectives at 215-750-3845.

Police Identify Pedestrian Killed on Sunday

Duk Ki Lee, 71, was the victim of Sunday night's accident along Penn Valley Road, police said Tuesday evening.

  The elderly man struck and killed by a Toyota Corolla on Penn Valley Road in the area of New Falls Road over the weekend was identified by police Tuesday evening. Levittown resident Duk Ki Lee, 71, was struck by the car Sunday just before 7:30 p.m. He was pronounced dead at St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown a short time later, police Lt. Hank Ward said. Identifying Lee took so long due to the fact that he was not carrying identification at the time of the strike. Also, he is not known to have any relatives in the United State, Ward told Patch. The 71-year-old was walking in the roadway at the time he was struck, Ward said. Around the same time, rain storms were moving through the Levittown area. Police confirm that the accident …

Man Struck by Car in Falls Dies [Updated]

A man was struck and killed by a vehicle by the 7-Eleven near the intersection of New Falls and Penn Valley roads Sunday night.

  Tuesday, 7:15 p.m.: Duk Ki Lee, 71, was the victim of Sunday night's accident along Penn Valley Road, police said Tuesday evening. Click here for more. Monday, 8:35 a.m.: Police report the victim, an elderly male in the his 70s, died of injuries sustained after being struck by a car Sunday night. The driver of the Toyota Corolla that struck the man on Penn Valley Road in the area of New Falls Road is cooperating with investigators and was uninjured. After receiving reports of a struck pedestrian, Falls Township officers quickly responded and worked to saved the man's life, police said. Oh Thank Heaven for Free Slurpees

Today, 7-Eleven is giving out free slurpees.

In honor of 7-Eleven's 84th birthday, the convenience store will be giving out free slurpees. “Slurpee-brations” and 7-Eleven birthday parties will be held at select stores with music, entertainment, prizes and food sampling, and Slurpee-mobiles will provide free samples at select 7-Eleven stores across the country, according to a press release issued by 7-Eleven. Today only, 7.11-ounce slurpees will be free while supplies last. According to the release, 7-Eleven stores across the U.S. and in Cananda will be giving away up to 5 million slurpees.
