'She Said She Would Cut Off My Penis'

A former Bristol Township woman will be going to trial on charges she tried to kill her ex-husband and mother-in-law

It sounded like a scene from a horror movie as Stanislav Kushnirov recalled Wednesday in district court how his 58-year-old ex-wife, Barbara Kushnirov, used a kitchen knife to try to stab through the door and into the Bristol Township bedroom where the man and his mother had taken shelter. The man testified at Barbara's preliminary hearing that he believed his ex-wife was trying to kill his elderly mother on the evening of Nov. 17, 2012. He also told the court that his ex-wife called his mother an “evil woman” and threatened to cut off his penis. “She said she would cut off my penis,” he said.
