HS Football: Borough, Township Teams Win

Highlights of the weekend's high school football games.

Williams Valley 0, Bristol Borough 20 The streets of Bristol Borough were filled with cheers during Saturday afternoon's Christmas Parade as it was announced that the Warriors beat Williams Valley and would be moving onto the championships. The 9-1 Warriors were forced to cancel their annual Thanksgiving Day game against Morrisville in order to be prepared for the Saturday afternoon matchup. Coatsville 63, Neshaminy 28 The 9-4 Redskins fell to Coatsville at Friday evening's away game. The Redskins fought hard this season despite a regional controversy involving their head coach in the middle of the season. HS Football: Redskins Advance; Falcons Downed

Highlights of the weekend's high school football games.

Neshaminy 17, Central Bucks South 7 The Redskins defeated the 10-2 Titans during Friday night's semi-final in Warrington. The team is now holds a 9-3 record. The Neshaminy boys advance to play Coatsville. Click here to read more on the game. Pennsbury 27, Pennridge 28 The Falcons lost Friday night's game in Upper Bucks County. The team ended their 9-3 season by losing the match up by 1 point. Communication Tech 24, Bristol 27 The 8-1 Warriors won the weekend game by a mere 3 points. The Warriors will take part in a match up against Morrisville on Thanksgiving Day.

HS Football: Neshaminy, Pennsbury Win First Playoff Round

Both teams advance during the fall playoffs.

Neshaminy 42, Plymouth Whitemarsh 21 The 8-3 Redskins bested Plymouth Whitemarsh during Friday night play in Montgomery County. The Redskins now advance to the face Central Bucks South next week. Click here to read more on the game.  Bayard Rustin 13, Pennsbury 21 Under the Friday night lights at Pennsbury High School, the Falcons swooped into the game a bested the Bayard Rustin Golden Knights. The 9-2 Falcons move on and will play Pennidge next week in Perkasie.

HS Football: Pennsbury, Neshaminy Move to Playoffs

Take a look at the scores from the weekend's local high school football games.

Pennsbury 7, Neshaminy 0 The Falcons blanked the Redskins Saturday afternoon. With near spotless records, the Falcons and 'Skins are moving to the playoffs. The Falcons are 8-2 for the season, while the 'Skins are 7-3. Next weekend, Pennsbury will host West Chester. Neshaminy will play Plymouth Whitemarsh. Click here to read more on the game. Benalem --, Truman -- Friday night's game has been rescheduled to Monday night in Bristol due to Hurricane Sandy. Conwell-Egan The team was not set to play a game over the weekend. Bristol The 7-1 Warriors are set to play against Jenkintown on Tuesday night in Montgomery County.

HS Football: Pennsbury Beats North, Tennent Defeats Truman & More

  Pennsbury 35, Council Rock North 20 The Falcons now hold a 6-2 record for the season. The team has won the past several games in a row. William Tennent 28, Truman 6 Truman fell to the 4-4 William Tennent Panthers Friday evening at home. The Bristol Township team now stands 2-6. Neshaminy 42, Bensalem 33  The Redskins managed to win Friday night's game against Bensalem despite Coach Mark Schmidt being suspended after an incident at last week's game.   Pennsbury 41, William Tennent 0 Coming off of several wins, the Falcons blasted past the William Tennent Panthers on a chilly Friday night game under the lights in Warminster. Pennington 7, Bristol 19  The Warriors are now 5-1 for the season. Abington 40, Truman 12  After losing to Pennsbury last week, Abington defeated Truman during their Friday night match-up. The Tigers now sit 2-5 for the season.

HS Football: Neshaminy Beats Truman; Pennsbury Game Delayed

  Neshaminy 48, Harry S. Truman 13 The Redskins improved to 3-2 on the season, bouncing back from a loss to William Tennent last week. Truman stands at 2-3 so far for the season. Pennsbury, Council Rock South The game was postponed Friday after several Council Rock players were diagnosed with a skin infection. The game has been rescheduled for Monday at 7 p.m. at Falcon Field. The special guest appearance and autograph signing with former Eagle Reggie Brown has not yet been rescheduled.
