Man Reports Home Invasion in Colbolt Ridge
Neighbors in the Colbolt Ridge section of the township did not hear anything at the time the crime was alleged to have happened.
Middletown police continue to investigate a reported home invasion that happened in the 50 block of Crestwood Road in Colbolt Ridge section of the community at around 11 a.m. on Thursday. About 10 police cars responded to reports from an elderly man who claimed two individuals with masks attacked him and stole an large sum of money, according to neighbors and police communications. Neighbors, who did not wish to be named, said an ambulance took the elderly man away. One emergency official told a Crestwood Road resident the man claimed he was tasered.
